SBF® Technology – Stitched Before Filled
Traditional duvet production involves sewing a shell, filling it with down, and quilting squares for the final appearance. Unfortunately, this process often damages the down and shell, leading to inadequate down-proofing, uneven sewing, and poorly distributed filling weight.
With SBF® Technology, Lilot Summer and All-season duvets overcome these issues. Using a meticulous process, the finished shell, crafted by hand with the correct number of cells using a manual lockstitch machine, is then filled with down. Employing the vertical-channel method prevents down shifting, ensuring each cell is precisely filled with an identical amount of down for superior quality and durability.
